Question: in what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of the real media products?
What we will be speaking about in question 1:
- Why we have used the fonts we used; www.dafont.com - Andrea
We used the fonts we did because i found that it gave a good thriller edge to the titles, and these match the genre in which we were going for. I used www.dafont.com because some of my other group member’s were talking to older students that have used this website before and they recommended it. When on this website i discovered various good styles of fonts but the one i chose stood out the best.
- Why we used the location we did - Georgina
The reason in which we chose to shoot our thriller film in the location we did is because, Georgina lives there and she knew that there would not be anyone one walking though our scene and there wouldn't be screaming kids of loud people passing, that would interrupt us. We needed this because we were setting the scene that the killer has placed the car in a quite and cut off place (not were people normally go).
- Why did we use the actors and costumes - Danica
The reason why we sued the actors that we did was because, we found that they suited the character that we were trying to out across in our film.
We used women as the killers because we wanted to portray the male gaze but though a women's eyes. This shows the women are more powerful in our film.- I am going to get 9 screen shots from our film and talk about each one of them step by step by using these points above.
